Raw and Juicy in Alys Beach is looking for an experienced baker. If you have kitchen experience and enjoy working with a fun, creative, socially and environmentally conscious team, we would like to meet you! The shifts are flexible, but early morning is preferred.
The position is responsible for preparing breads, pastries, snacks, and grab and go items for sale at Raw and Juicy. The job includes following recipes to prepare batters and often using alternative flours and natural sweeteners. The baker would also need to maintain ordering and inventory for the bakery, ensuring goods are produced appropriately to prevent shortages or spoilage, and verifying needed ingredients are on hand.
Raw and Juicy is an organic, vegetarian cafe offering a rotating selection of fresh, seasonal foods including breakfast, lunch, desserts, packaged raw food products, ferments, juices, smoothies, coffee, wine, and beer.
