June 8th | Boukou Groove Founded on the stage at Tipitinas in NOLA in 2010, Boukou Groove is the brainchild of singer/producer Donnie Sundal and New Orleans guitar luminary Derwin “Big D” Perkins. Sundal, sharing stages and recording with the likes of Sam Bush, Col.Bruce Hampton and Junior Marvin of The Wailers, creates an infectious blend of energy and enthusiasm as he showcases his multi-octave ranging vocals while sustaining his brand of lavish Moog bass lines. Big D (Jon Cleary and the Absolute Monster Gentleman, Bonnie Raitt and Dr.John) provides his smooth and funky guitar licks largely based on improvisation and feel alone. Together, no matter what the venue, the band provides their distinguishing style and creates a kinetic environment that’s easily spread throughout the audience. June 22nd | Wildlife Specials The Wildlife Specials are an Americana and Rock N’ Roll band that includes John Mark Turner and Scott Crompton, along with drummer Richard Proctor (Tishamingo) and bassist Billy Garrett. With 120+ combined years of touring, recording and song writing experience between them, The Wildlife Specials are a unique assortment of talented players who met up in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. After sharing the stage and studio with the likes of Darryl Jones and Bernard Fowler of the Rolling Stones, Widespread Panic, Bob Margolin, Hubert Sumlin, Johnny Shines, Willy Green, Daniel Lanois, among many others, they both ended up in Santa Rosa Beach and decided to form The Wildlife Specials (named after a roadside food vendor in NOLA). The Word of Mouth Restaurant Group’s creative chef team currently operates six restaurants in LA, AL and FL. and have recently launched Red Fish Taco at Red Fish Village in Blue Mountain Beach, Florida. Proprietor/Founder Chef Jim Richard and his creative team of culinary super stars has expanded into the beachy casual food segment across from the beautiful beaches of South Walton.
