Heads up to y'all. From today's Daily News:
" The Florida Department of Transportation has authorized Sandestin to close the outside westbound lane of U.S. Highway 98 near its western intersection with County Road 30A from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday. The left-turn lane from CR 30A onto U.S. 98 will also be closed.
The closed lane of U.S. 98 will be used by shuttles taking fans to and from off-site parking on the north side of the highway.
The DOT said motorists can expect delays and congestion on U.S. 98 from Danny Wuerffel Way in Destin east to U.S. Highway 331 in Walton County. The department said it will post message boards throughout the area advising motorists to consider alternate routes. "
