I need some great tomatoes and cucumbers for our neighborhood supper club on Saturday. What time do things shut down this time of the year? We're leaving for SoWal on Saturday AM. A 4.5 hour drive with Miss Pepper.

BR, Seaside Farmers Market is open 8-noon. They may change hours with time change later this fall (9-1)...
This farmers market was the first in South Walton and is absolutely fantastic. We love the breads, tomatoes and produce, pastries, fresh herbs, and we're in a big habit of picking up huge gyros, and prepared Indian dishes (curry beef & potatoes/rice, etc)... What a great place to pick up good food.
This farmers market is run by Jen at Raw and Juicy in Seaside. She now has a second farmers market at The Market Shops at the entrance of Sandestin Resort. Raw and Juicy Farmers Market is every Sunday, 8-noon. Smaller market but with several of the same vendors.
We now have others as well:
Grand Blvd Farmers Market on Saturdays, 9-1
Rosemary Beach Farmers Market on Sundays, 9-1
Gulf Place Farmers Market on Sundays, 8-2
more markets at Destin Harbor, Carillon Beach, St Andrews Waterfront Market (PCB) - want to check that one out!

Thanks, Teresa. We'll have to leave early Saturday, but that's otay. I just hate to serve Eatzi's tomato/cucumber/dill recipe with meh tomatoes.
