The local community is invited to see the Sinfonia Youth Orchestra’s spring concert, as they perform numerous pieces, ranging from classical to contemporary. The concert will take place Sunday, May 19th at 3PM at Grace Lutheran Church in Destin. Attendance is free and open to the public.

The Sinfonia Youth Orchestra program is the premier training orchestra in Northwest Florida and consists of more than 50 students who participate in a variety of ensembles that perform throughout the school year in one of two ensembles: The Sinfonietta Strings or the Sinfonia Youth Orchestra.

Sinfonia Gulf Coast was founded in 2005 on Florida’s Northwest Gulf Coast with the mission of redefining the symphony experience. Under the guidance of founder and Music Director Demetrius Fuller and a dedicated board of directors, the nonprofit orchestra is in its 13th season of innovative musical programming, designed to entertain, educate and inspire the community. Since it’s founding, Sinfonia Gulf Coast has presented more than 550 concerts and events that have reached over 335,000 patrons, has collaborated with numerous nonprofits and businesses throughout the community and has reached more than 115,000 children through its Sinfonia Guest Artists in the Schools program/music education outreach initiatives.
