There are always amigo's playing basketball at that park. Pretty nice little park with things to do for a variety of age groups with three docks and a bridge to fish from, covered grilling area and restrooms.

I bet if you try you'll bring in a Redfish over there as big as that Northern Pike you're holding in your avatar. If you castnet for some bait fish off the bridge you can get some nice speckled trout in that line of grass down the Southern shoreline too.

The rain Saturday morning was tremendous. Leaving after having B'fast at Great Southern we were ready to go north on 331. When we were filling up at I-10 and 331 we got a call from friends who left about 30 minutes earlier. They were experiencing 6" of water flowing across the road. Seems that they were one of the last vehicles to get through. Other friends that tried to get through were turned back, State Troopers closed the road. I checked out the rainfall when we got back to St Louis and found this.

Oh ... and on Sunday we woke to an inch of snow. Talk about wild weather!
