Fllorida State Park Pass

I have purchased a Florida State Park pass in the past from Grayton Beach State Park and from Henderson Beach Park. (Purchased at the entrance gate at both locations.)

By the way, does anyone know if the state park pass works for Point Washington State Forest? We were once at Point Washington (the parking lot area on 395 south of Hwy 98) and a person who identified himself as a ranger told us that the normal state park pass does not apply to Point Washington State Forest. If the State Pass does not apply to Point Washington State Forest, is a pass required for the state forest?

Thanks!

The ranger was correct. It is two different state entities. There is no pass required for the forest, but the parking lot at the 395 trailhead requires a parking fee. If you don't want to pay the fee park elsewhere or use one of the other many forest entrances.
Many of the Pt. Washington forest trails were built by volunteers working with the forest management. See beachtobay.org - there are trail maps on their site.
