Here is some info on our annual Membership Meeting on Nov. 29th. This is a great opportunity for SWCC members to get together, do a little business and watch a great program.

The film we are showing is a professionally done documentary and is often shown in school science classes so please feel free to bring any family and friends to this meeting. Its more of a party with a short business meeting. There will be food, drinks, a great film and fellowship.

SWCC presents The Hidden Rivers of Florida

South Walton Community Council will present the film, The Hidden Rivers of Florida, at 6:30 p.m., November 29, 2006 at the Coastal Branch Library in Santa Rosa Beach. The film will be part of the 11th annual membership meeting of SWCC.

It is an award winning film in which a team of scientists and cave divers take a daring journey underground into the Floridan aquifer. Their discoveries lead viewers on a thrilling adventure about the course that water takes, and the places you don't want to believe it goes.

The photography is stunning, the journey is educational and instills an appreciation and awe for the magnificent water body that supplies the drinking water for so many areas, including us.

Following the film, we will have a brief membership meeting to vote in the new directors for SWCC.
The meeting should end around 8 pm.

See you on the 29th!
