A warm night, a friendly crowd, a night sky dotted with stars and a new family tradition?what more could you want to kick off the Labor Day Weekend? Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and get ready for the third installment of Tapestry Park Cinema. Tapestry Park will screen the Disney hit Ratatouille on a giant 16-foot screen in Savannah Park tonight, Friday, August 29th. Tapestry Park Cinema will also be offering a cash-only concession stand.

In keeping with the culinary theme, Tapestry Park Cinema will feature a children?s art activity prior to the movie with our friends from Abrakadoodle. Children will have the opportunity to design a canvas placemat and draw their favorite gourmet meal. Culinary Canvases will be available beginning at 7:00 p.m. and will continue until the movie begins.

The screening will begin at sundown, around 8:00 p.m.; however, guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure their spot on the lawn. The cash-only concession stand will feature popcorn, sodas, juices and bottled water. Tapestry Park will be collecting pop tabs from all sodas purchased at the event. All collected tabs will be dropped off at the Ronald McDonald House of Northwest Florida to support their Pop Tab Program.

Tapestry Park Cinema will conclude on Friday, September 26th with our final installment for 2008. The last movie will be Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Tapestry Park is located on Clara Avenue, between Hutchinson Boulevard and Hwy 98, in the heart of Panama City Beach. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Savannah Park. For more information visit Tapestry Park online at www.tapestrypark.com or call us at 850.234.3339.
