The Seaside Repertory Theatre is excited to announce its newest offering, the Dark House Series. Throughout the year there are times when the Rep stage is ?dark? meaning there is not a fully-staged play being produced. During these times, the Rep will be opening its doors for a diverse selection of events, including staged readings, independent films and live music. Our intimate 70 seat theatre provides the perfect setting for such distinctive programming, and we are thrilled to be hosting such a dynamic range of culturally enriching entertainment for our community.

The premiere event for this new series is on Thursday April 22, and the series continues for the next three weeks until Saturday May 8. On Thursdays staged readings of selected plays will be offered, showcasing the talents of Rep company members; a collection of cutting-edge independent films will be shown on Fridays; and Saturdays will feature live performances by local and national musicians.

All shows will begin at 7:30, and the doors will open at 7:00. Tickets can be purchased online at Seaside Repertory Theatre, by calling our box office at 850-231-0733, or at the door. Admission for the Dark House events ranges from a suggested donation of $10, to $15 per ticket. All tickets are general admission; there is no reserved seating. Please see the schedule of events below, visit their websites to learn more about the artists, or go to Seaside Repertory Theatre for more information.

The Rep would like to thank Dark House Series Sponsors 30A.com, Amavida Coffee, Mountainfilm, and Redfish Village. We also would like to acknowledge our season sponsors, the Cottage Rental Agency of Seaside, Pizitz Home & Cottage, and Sowal.com. Please visit these businesses and thank them for allowing us to bring this exciting series of events to our community.

Stephanie Soechtig's debut feature is an unflinching examination of the big business of bottled water. From the producers of Who Killed the Electric Car and I.O.U.S.A., this timely documentary is a behind-the-scenes look into the unregulated and unseen world of an industry that aims to privatize and sell back the one resource that ought never to become a commodity: our water.
