Friends of South Walton Turtle Watch are having a Trash Bash on Sat. October 24th 7:30 – 9am at Miramar Regional Beach Access at 2375 Scenic Gulf Dr.

Come help save sea turtles by keeping the beaches #CleanDarkFlat! Even with the fantastic crew that cleans the beaches every night here in Walton County, there is still a lot we can do to help keep the beaches safe for sea turtles.

Bring your own water bottle, hat and sunscreen as we’ll be walking the beach, picking up trash, filling in leftover holes and knocking down leftover sandcastles. If you need work gloves - bring them! At the end of the event we’ll track our trash collection in the Clean Swell app to help study the impact of marine debris.

Make sure to check Friends of South Walton Sea Turtles on Facebook and social media accounts for updates.

Miramar Beach Access is ADA accessible, and has parking, restrooms, and lifeguards during peak season. Located on Scenic Gulf Drive next to Pompano Joe's Bar & Grill about two miles west of Silver Sands Outlet Stores.
