My opposition has sent all sorts of mailers out saying I am the candidate of "millionaires and billionaires." Well the financials are out and I have raised $36,134.15. That sounds like a lot of money to me. But Cecilia Jones has raised $137,335.61. Combined with the acknowledged spending of Voter Response at $119,000; that comes to $256,335.61 they have spent to try and defeat me. Which leads to three questions: 1. Why is a county commission seat in Walton County worth a quarter of a million dollars? 2. What do they get in return for their investment? and 3. Who is the candidate of "millionaires and billionaires?" They think they own our county and that spending this obscene amount of money will insure they stay in control. August 28 you can take our government back and tell them to go buy some other county, that ours is not for sale.
