We rent out two new (built in 2003) 3-bedroom, one story, 2 bath, Florida cottages with large porches, steps from a large pool, and across the street from a quiet beach at the Cottages at Camp Creek in the Seacrest area in SoWal. The cottages are next door to each other which is great for families/friends who want to travel together, yet have their own place. Each cottage has a small yard (with grill) nestled in the natural landscape of the area (e.g., scrub oaks) in front of the porch. These cottages work well for short or long-term stays any time of the year. We'd LOVE to find people who want to stay for longer periods, especially in the winter. Winter rates are exceptional. The cottages are well-maintained, light-filled (lots of windows), very well furnished in a casual beach cottage theme, and we provide everything we can think of to help make our guests stay fun and easy. They are family-friendly, as is the community they are in. We leave a lot of our books, movies, games, puzzles, cds, pool floaters/beach toys/coolers, and more there for guests of all ages from toddlers to adults to use -- you could easily stay months and not get through everything! We have a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of high quality dishes, glasses, plastic dishes for children and picnics, cooking equipment (microwave, pots, pans, casserole dishes, knives, coffee machine, coffee grinder, waffle maker and much more). Large capacity washer and dryer. People who like to cook will be very pleased (and you can ignore all the kitchen stuff if you don't like to cook). We pride ourselves on taking VERY good care of our guests and we get many repeat guests.
The rental rates are excellent for 3-bedroom/2-bath (e.g., peak summer rates are $1375, fall rates are $825/week or $140/night; winter rates are $690 week or $115 night - negotiable for longer-term stays; and spring rates range from $1025 - $1225 week -- these are the 2005 rates and cleaning fees are included with stay of 3 days or more).
