CUSTOMARY USE ALERT: VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY NEEDED THIS WEEKEND! Florida Beaches for All (FBFA) needs volunteers to assist with Labor Day Weekend Sign the Affidavit! Blitz. We need notaries and other volunteers to greet people and distribute affidavits to preserve and perpetuate the doctrine of Customary Use on ALL BEACHES.
We will be stationed at all eight Walton County Regional Beach Accesses and several retail locations. FBFA will provide you affidavits, clipboards, pens and reference materials. Each location will have a designated Team Lead to explain the process.
We will be collecting and notarizing completed affidavits from 10AM-4PM on Saturday, September 1; Sunday, September 2; and Monday September 3. Shifts will be three hours (10AM-1PM + 1PM-4PM) each day. You can work as many shifts as you’d like. YOUR BEACH needs you!
