Join us at your Coastal Library for a game of chess in the library Mondays, 4:00 pm. All ages and levels of chess players are welcome with no registration required. Walton County Coastal Branch Library welcomes you to Preschool Story Hour Thursdays, 10:00 am. Bring your family for this preschool class developed for our primary age children filled with fun stories, crafts, music and friends. For our Christmas holiday season, Santa will visit on December 7th during our regularly scheduled class. This will be the perfect time for pictures with Santa at your library. Parents and caregivers with a heart for reading aloud to primary age children, please consider participating as a volunteer leader. We appreciate your support! No registration is required. Coastal Library welcomes artists of all levels to meet in the community room of the library to create art. On Fridays, "Joy Art Group" come together to provide a supportive atmosphere for artists of multiple genres to collaborate and broaden their horizons. They enjoy the process of creating in a casual and supportive setting where there is no instruction, just an atmosphere of collegiality and sharing. Consider joining "Joy Art Group" on Fridays from 9:00 am to noon in the meeting room of the Walton County Coastal Branch Library, Santa Rosa Beach. All are welcome to participate at no expense and in whatever way fits your schedule.
