    Here is the 2015 list of issues presented by the District 5 Commissioner, Cindy Meadows. We would love to hear some input on these issues or anything else you are concerned about!

    "2015 is shaping up to be a very busy year with critical decisions to be made.
    We will try to keep you updated on all pending decisions that will impact you ; the citizen taxpayer."

    1) Hurricane Storm Damage Reduction Project
    2) Coastal Dune Lake Protection Zone revisions
    3) Funding for Storm water Management
    4) Funding for 30A overlay of roadway
    5) Development on 30A
    6) Development in "critically flooded" drainage basins
    7) Parking improvements
    8) Beach Access improvements
    9) Sports Complex recreation facilities
    10) Transit study
    11) selection of projects to be funded with Restore Act Anticipated monies

    1) Turn lanes at the north and south intersections of CR 395 and SR 98.
    2) Engineers analysis and improvement program for 58 critically flooded locations
    3) Turn lanes at Geronimo Street and SR 98 in Miramar
    4) Crosswalk and pedestrian sidewalk on CR 395 at Seagrove village drive or thereabouts.
    5) 2014/15 dirt to pave program on roads in Dst. 5
    6)TDC Charrette on public spaces

    Are there any plans to make the Eastern Lake neighborhood beach access usable? Due to the drift of the outfall further westward, it's been difficult if not impossilbe to use for quite a while now.
