ROADS
  • Helen McCall Park Connector Road- 60% set of plans have been received and is currently under review by staff.
  • CR 395 & CR 30A- intersection improvements. 60% set of plans have been received and reviewed. Staff has met with the utility companies. Project is still under design.

STATE FUNDED PROJECTS

  • CR 181C-resurfacing of CR 181C from SR 81 to Holmes County Line. This project is funded by the State of Florida Small County Outreach Program in the amount of $2,578,011.00. This project is currently under construction and scheduled to be completed by mid-February 2017.
  • Walton Bridge Road-paving of Walton Bridge Road from south of Doctor’s Road to Rock Hill Road. This project is funded by the State of Florida Small County Outreach Program in the amount of $2,328,126.00. Design has been completed and construction bid will be award to contractor December 2015. Construction will begin January 2017.
  • CR 183(Kidd/Line Road)-resurfacing of CR 183 from SR 10 (US 90) to Homes County Line (7.09 miles). This project is funded by the State of Florida Small County Road Assistance Program in the amount of $4,000,005.00. Design has been completed and is currently awaiting permitting.
  • CR 285-resurfacing and reconstruction of CR 285 from SR 187 to the Alabama State Line (3.47 miles). Paving has been completed. Project is expected to be completed January 2017.
  • McKinnon Bridge Road- Paving of McKinnon Bridge Road from north of Bruce Creek Relief Bridge to South of Red Hill Road. This project is funded by the State of Florida Small County Outreach program in the amount of $1,078,480.00. Construction is projected to be completed by the end of the calendar year.
2014/2015 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS

  • Paradise Point Lane- paving of Casa Grande Lane to the end. Crews have cleared the row and are awaiting utility relocation. Paving has been scheduled.
  • Casa Grande Lane- paving .1 miles from Losa Roblas Grande to Paradise Pointe Lane. Crews have cleared ROW and are waiting utility relocation. Paving has been scheduled.
  • Blue Bell Circle- paving .25 miles from E Mack Bayou to Mack Bayou. Crews have cleared the row and are awaiting utility relocation.
  • Pine Knoll Lane- paving length .1 miles. Task Order has been sent to Genesis Engineering for fee/man hour proposal.
  • Blue Gulf Drive- paving length .1 miles. Task Order has been sent to Genesis Engineering for fee/man hour proposal.
  • Oak Hill Lane- paving length .1 miles. Task Order has been sent to Genesis Engineering for fee/man hour proposal.
  • East Point Washington Road-realignment and paving. Staff has received a consent letter from FDEP in regards to a 60’ easement. Task Order has been sent to our continuing engineering firms for fee/man hour proposal.
BRIDGES/PEDESTRIAN BRIDGES

  • Big Redfish Bridge-replacement of culvert with bridge. This project is funded by State of Florida Hazard Mitigation Grant program in the amount of $603,450.00. Design has been completed and utilities are currently being located. Construction scheduled post Labor Day 2017.
  • McKinnon Bridge Road Bridge-replacement of bridge. This project is a Capital Improvement project. Design and mussel study completed. Awaiting permits.
  • Western Lake Pedestrian Bridge Phase I-construction of pedestrian bridge and multi-use path. This project is funded through the State of Florida LAP program in the amount of $1,049,106.00. Design and permitting has been completed. Construction has begun and will be completed April/May 2017.
  • Indian Creek Ranch Road Bridge-replacement of bridge. This project is a Capital Improvement Project. Project currently under design and permitting phase.
  • Oyster Lake- Working on permit modification to address storm damage. Installation of retaining wall and earth blankets
PARKING/MULTI-USE PATHS

  • Western Lake Pedestrian Bridge Phase II-construction of parking spaces, drainage and landscaping improvements within the ROW. Design has been completed. A preconstruction meeting has been scheduled for December 13, 2016.
  • US 395N (from US 98-Bayou Road)- road construction project is to include the addition of a multi-use path on CR 395 and US 98 to the north end of the road terminating at Choctawhatchee Bay. Project length is 1.4 miles. This project will is funded through TIFT funding and is currently under design.
DRAINAGE PROJECTS

  • CR 393 Drainage Improvements-this project was approved in the list of 2016 TIFT projects. Design has been completed and construction will begin Jan/Feb 2017.
  • Hewett Bayou Watershed-this project was approved in 2015 projects list to be funded by infrastructure funds. Design has been completed and the project is currently under construction.
  • Apple Court-design complete and material has been ordered. In-house crews will begin construction Feb/Mar 2017. This is a 60 day project.
  • Carlos Court- design has been completed and permits have been issued. Awaiting easement to begin construction.
  • Spotted Dolphin-design has been completed and permits have been issued. Project has been scheduled to begin 2017.
  • Lakewood Drive-design has been completed and permits have been issued. Project has been scheduled.
  • Brown Street-staff is working on permitting and utilities. Potential to pave.
  • Driftwood Drainage Retrofit Phase I-attempt to satisfy nuisance drainage in phases. In-house drainage crews will replace existing ditches with shallow swales and piping
  • West Mitchell- installation of drainage culvert/pipe. Materials have been ordered and work has been scheduled.
RESTORE PROJECTS

  • Mack Bayou Drainage Improvements- awaiting 60% set of plans
  • Western Lake Drainage Improvements-awaiting 60% set of plans
  • Allen Loop Road Drainage Improvements-60% set of plans received, under review
  • Golf Club Drive Improvements-60% set of plans received, under review
  • Seagrove Stormwater Improvements-scope has changed due to 395 intersection drainage & Beachside Condos Drainage. Under Design
MISCELLANEOUS

  • Coyote East Landfill- Task 1 conceptual Engineering plans completed. Staff scheduled to meet with FDEP to discuss Task 1 and the Implementation of Task II (construction).
