Sounds like you had a great time with your daughter! What a wonderful thing to be able to say, and to have her say! You and Miss Kitty actually have this sort of experience in common...:D , right Miss Kitty?

The things we do for our chillren! Glad y'all had a good time!!! Yes, you are referring to Edgefest and the experience was much the same. We dodged turkey legs and bottles!!!!

they were 28 $ a piece...but I ordered them on line...you pay for convience...

That's a bargain compared to other shows! I think it's hard to find tickets for any big acts for much less than $100 anymore.

Sounds like you had a great time.

I too would accompany my son to a concert, however, he is in a "rap" phase right now and I try, but I just can't like it. :bang: May have something to do with the theme of the songs and the language.

It's funny how boys are drawn to the rap and hard rock. My 10 yr old had me look up Mike V and the Rats the other day on itunes. I was like ...what??? Let's just say we didn't buy anything.

How old is he? Kaiboo went through a rap phase too...6th grade...thank goodness she out grew it...but her music does have language...no doubt about it...however... there is not as much sexual content as rap.
I feel glad that Kailey was happy to have me with her....Lucky13...I am sure you will be a cool mom and do the same...

He is 12 going on 25!! Don't get me wrong, I do like some...but I have a hard time with him listening to it. The sex, the drugs, the gansta attitude, not good for a 12 year old. We fight about it alot. I hope he grows out of it fast. And to think forcing him to listen to U2 since the womb did not have an impression. :dunno:
