CCMC currently has a full time Maintenance Associate position at WaterColor in Santa Rosa Beach, FL.

The Maintenance Associate must have the skills to perform a wide range of general repairs in a reasonable amount of time in an industry-accepted manner to extend and enhance the life of the property. The Maintenance Associate will maintain all exterior building lighting to include photocells, bulb replacement, and fixture repair and replacement; perform plumbing repairs to include exterior faucets, PVC repairs, and fixture repair and replacement; maintain sump pumps and ground drains and perform repairs or replacement as needed; cleaning drains and pump pits; maintain limited access gates; perform minor carpentry repairs; maintain storage closets (doors and locks); perform fence or gate repairs; clean or repair gutters; minor caulk, prep and painting; perform irrigation repairs; and additional duties or job functions may be required as deemed necessary by the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Community Manager.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and observant, and will detect maintenance needs throughout the property and rectify concerns; will be able to communicate with managers, residents and peers; will have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; will follow instructions and schedules as designated; and will be dependable, solution-oriented and professional in appearance.

Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, perform physical labor, and lift up to 75 pounds. Most work assignments are outside. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a related maintenance field and will have electrical, plumbing, general maintenance, and irrigation skills including but not limited to electrical lighting and wiring.

A current driver’s license is required.

All prospective employees must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
