Responsible for providing superior service at the pro shop desk to our resort guests and members that utilize the Tennis Center.
Deep knowledge of tennis, tennis equipment, apparel, rackets, string, and be able to effectively "talk the talk" with our customers.
Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Watercolor Tennis standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the tennis program.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working.
Smile, welcome our guests and members. Use their name whenever possible.
Fold and stock towels throughout the facility.
Fill water coolers and replenish other supplies as needed throughout the day.
Assist in merchandise buying for the pro shop.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility.
Complete an initial daily task lists for opening and closing procedures.
Record information regarding member and guests court reservations and program registrations.
Become proficient in using our online bookings system and Point of Sale for sales and charges.
Complete nightly cash report for closing shift.
Answer the phone and take messages as needed.
Light tennis court maintenance if/as assigned (sweeping and brushing lines)
Maintain knowledge of current tennis programs.
Maintain knowledge of the resort amenities and local shops and activities, especially Watercolor Inn, Boathouse, etc.
Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
Previous customer service experience is strongly preferred.
Ability to think clearly, quickly and make concise decisions.
Ability to work cohesively with co-workers.
Scheduling flexibility, including willingness to work some weekends and holidays.
Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems.
Square Up POS system experience is a plus.
Racket Stringing Experience is a plus.
Manage part time employee scheduling, timesheets, etc.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to standing.

wage: $10-$12/hr depending on experience
