My favorite thing to order when I'm here is fried oysters. Would love to hear opinions about who has the best.

Stinky's. They are large and juicy with minimal breading, not small cut-up pieces that are mostly breading.

Who the hell does that? You can't really cut up an oyster.

Nick's by far has the best fried oysters.

Agree! Fried oysters are my favorite and I've had them everywhere. Nick's at the Beach (Blue Mountain Beach) rocks those fried oysters like none other!

Stinky's knows how to fry. It's also the only place at the beach to get catfish. Which is good, because they do catfish well.

Steamboat Bar & Grill has a lunch special Monday - Friday. Huge portion of freshly fried crispy catfish, french fries, hushpuppies and slaw. Cathy can cook some seriously good catfish!

Marigney up on Hewitt where the Love Shack used to be has catfish all the time too. A lot cheaper and less of a pain to get in and out.

Fried oyster and spinach salad with bacon vinaigrette dressing at Cafe 30a is mighty hard to beat.
