and post any tips you have, for today I'm making the gnocchi to go in the chicken and gnocchi soup. Never made it before, but I couldn't find it at the store...ugh...and I thought, "hail, I can make dumplings, I can make pie crust, I can make just about anything dough related, so surely I can do this."

I do find, however, that there are about 50 million recipes and opinions on the best ingredients, methods, etc.

So....potato or ricotta? Hmmmmm..........

Don't know what I was afraid of. Easy Peasy!! Gnocchi turned out fab....like little pillows of cheesy air. Soup is done and ready for tonight. Sometimes I do amaze myself.

My oldest son's first wife got remarried Friday night and we were invited to the wedding. They had a 5 course dinner and the first courst was gnocchi's in a marinara sauce. Boy they was goooood!!
