I'm a writer and food blogger and I'd like to interview a local (preferably certified) sommelier for an upcoming piece on wine drinkers vs. beer drinkers -- so some knowledge of beer is a plus! I can't offer compensation, but I won't take much time, and I have a nice-sized audience so even if it doesn't sell to a larger site, you'll still get some visibility. My style is humorous/folksy and I'd like to find someone with serious knowledge but with a good sense of humor and the ability speak about wine/beer in layman's terms. Can anyone help??

Call Chan's or one of the nicer 30A restaurants.

    Call John Morris at Chan's

He is incredibly knowledgeable and very pleasant. His wine tasting sessions are excellent.

His phone number is 850-622-0802 (Chan's at Grand Blvd.)

Thank you both for the suggestions! I did find someone....If they fall through, I'll definitely look up John Morris. I'm finding out that good sommeliers are hard to find! Who knew?
