Yet another car crash at 331/98 -- MAY 7 2008

I saw only the remains today, but apparently there was another crash today at 331/98. The burgundy colored Miata or BMW (not sure which) has the front end on the driver's side pretty much smashed beyond recognition. The wheel was shoved into the wheel well, sideways (horizontal to the ground). I am amazed at how the crumple zones work on modern cars. The actual passenger compartment looked to be well protected, except maybe for the feet area. You guys be careful out there.

The FHP website had it listed as an accident with injuries, but I never heard any more on it. Hope everyone is alright.

I saw only the one car, and it was loaded on the tow truck which left the scene as I passed by.

The ambulance was leaving when I passed by yesterday. Like Smiley J, I was amazed at how intact the passenger area was while the rest of the car was ready for the junkyard.

the longer you stay, the better, he says selfishly, since he's seen you too infrequently. those people will still graduate if you're still in walton... ;-)
