Rock on! We welcome Princess K and all of the jdarg Family back into the fold. We are always a much more fulfilled and fulfilling organization with more of our local community's involvement.

Now if we could just get Big Sam's Funky Nation there for "First Kick Saturday"....

US98 Soccer is thankful and proud to have become such an established part of the Greater South Walton Community! In just 2 1/2 years, we have become South Walton's most participated in and successful youth sports programs, with participants from Destin to Panama City Beach and as far north as Defuniak Springs. But we could not do it without this community's help.

With roughly 300 Players per season and two seasons (Fall and Spring) per year, equipment and resources are our biggests costs, and we depend on the people and businesses of Greater South Walton (not the county or taxpayer) to help us manage these expenses.

We hope anyone and any business who can, will consider a Sponsorship in US98 Soccer and Our Youth of Greater South Walton this Fall. You are nearly guaranteed to reach roughly 1,000 local residents and potentially many more inside and outside our community (on our website, www.us98soccer.com, US98 Sportstalk, or when Our Youth wear their Sponsor's shirt out in public), and we are always open to helping you promote your business in ways that you think will be most constructive.

Please find the attached Sponsorship Packages for consideration or check out offerings online, US98Soccer.com - Sponsorship Form.

Sign up today, and start showing your support immediately (on our Sponsors' page) for Our Youth and "The Beautiful Game"!

Thank You,
D. Christian Franek

(Most recent Champions Sponsors to Sign-Up): Fat Daddy's United, Cafe' Rendez-vous, and The Caf)

This is the Final Day of Registration before we get our Fall 2009 Champions League Season organized, squads determined, kits ordered (with Sponsor logos), equipment purchased, and all of the other preparation involved with running 200+ Player and 8+ week season of Fantastic Greater South Walton Footy Action and Excitement! (In particular, we'd like to help out our local middle schools, Seaside and ECMS, by getting more middle school aged Players signed up. So don't wait to make the investment in improving your soccer skills, fitness, and touch, while making your middle school team better in the process. Organized, structured, and refereed competitive and fun matches are a perfect warm-up to this winter's middle school season. And we've got coaches from as far away as Ft. Walton Beach and Freeport, and here locally, that are willing to volunteer and commit their time to helping you.)

Besides having our expected fun and learning experience playing in US98 Soccer right here in South Walton, we again have the opportunity at the end of the season for our top teams to compete in the upcoming Fall 2009 NW Florida Champions Day Tournament at Frank Brown Park in Panama City Beach, scheduled for December 5th. This is just one of the many great learning and memory-making experiences that Our Youth participating in US98 Soccer will continue to enjoy.

Another unforgettable and historical soccer learning experience is coming to South Walton this Spring, as US98 Soccer presents its own 2010 Word Cup Recreational Soccer Season! Local Youth will learn not only about the World Cup, but THE WORLD (being an International Relations major, I'll make sure of it), as they hit the pitch in an energy-building run-up to the World's Most Popular and Watched Sports Competition, World Cup 2010!!

Also, after a busy summer, Soccer Academie INTER98 will be looking to expand and better serve Our Greater South Walton Community and those Players who are interested in becoming both better individual soccer players and teammates. The mission of an Academy is to be instructional most and concerned about being competitive as a team less, while recognizing the value in being competitive as a team as well. We as an Academie and team have accomplished our mission in just our first year, and the results of INTER98 Player's dedication and commitment will be on display every Saturday this Fall. As INTER98 grows and expands, so too will the understanding, skills, and competitiveness of Our Local Youth Players who are willing to make a commitment to pushing themselves to achieve at the next level.

After our Fall 2009 Recreational Season, and as we transition into Winter, we will prepare to expand INTER98 to include as many of these divisions as possible: U-10 (co-ed), U-12 (co-ed, boys, girls), U-15 (boys, girls), and possibly U-18 (boys, girls) divisions. Soccer Academie INTER98 is already receiving inquiries from potential coaches who want to be a part of this dynamic addition to the Greater South Walton Soccer Scene!

For those who are willing to obligate themselves to making the commitment and getting serious about having some serious fun while continuing to learn and compete in soccer, we welcome you and look forward to having you as part of the program. For those who are not quite ready to make that jump, US98 Soccer will of course always offer a top quality recreational soccer program.

There is potentially even more exciting, perhaps groundbreaking, news regarding soccer and all of sports on the Greater South Walton horizon. US98 Soccer will continue to blaze some trails and actively advocate for providing all of you and your children the best, that you can be assured of!

And now that you may have the song firmly stuck in your head, have a look and a listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hzrDeceEKc[/"]YouTube - Broadcast Yourself..

Hope everyone had a great and beautiful first week of school, and now it is time for..."The Beautiful Game"!

Cheers & See You Out On The Pitch!

Hello Footy Folks of Northwest Florida!

An update on availability of last-minute opportunities for your child or children to get the exercise and fitness they absolutely need and deserve (and unfortunately is less and less emphasized in schools), all while learning and enjoying The World's Most Beautiful Game!

In the U-6 Division, which will be 4 v. 4, we have 7 spots still available. We have five slots available on the U-6 BAYERN 30-A Chiropractic Team, along with one spot on REAL Canvas Creations and one spot on Cafe' Rendez-Vous CELTIC still open.

In the U-13+ Division, which will be 7 v. 7 with goalies, we have 3 spots available, all on Fat Daddy's UNITED.

It is first come, first serve, and the kits have already been ordered for the Over-250 Players we have participating in Greater South Walton's most popular and exciting youth recreational sports action!

So don't wait or hesitate, sign up now! Or, if you know someone who may be interested, ring them up and give them the 4-1-1!

Anyone can register, here:http://us98soccer.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=29&Itemid=41

Also, the "REAL" CHAMPIONS LEAGUE started Group Stages this week and play September 29th & 30th next, all viewable on Fox Soccer Channel. You will recognize the names of many of the teams participating and competing (REAL, UNITED, BAYERN, STANDARD), which is all part of our master plan! If you cannot watch or do not want to watch from home, several of our Sponsors could undoubtedly oblige you, including The Red Bar (STANDARD de Liege Headquarters), Fat Daddy's Pizza (Manchester UNITED Headquarters), Cafe' Rendez-Vous (Glasgow CELTIC Headquarters), or Flip-Flops Grill (a GREAT CHILI-DOG Headquarters). Please visit all of our Sponsor on our website (http://us98soccer.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=33&Itemid=43) and in person, to support them supporting US98 Soccer supporting Our Greater South Walton Youth!

P.S. Weather permitting, there will be a fantastic fundraising effort directed by YOLO this weekend at Seaside, for two locals who could really use our help, including one of our soccer coaches, Jason Thompson. Please come out and enjoy, and show your support for those who are reaching out to our tight-knit, caring, and totally awesome Greater South Walton Community.

Cheers & See You Out On The Pitch!
