Valentine to 30A: All That Jazz and More featuring Escape to Create artists LIVE@TheREP on Saturday, February 15 at 7:30 p.m. With a command of Jazz, Rock, R&B, Funk, Brazilian, Fusion, and much more, Columbus, Ohio guitarist Zakk Jones teaches, performs in his dynamic Zakk Jones Trio and tours regularly with legendary artists such as the Coasters, Doc Robinson, and Chris Jamison (from ABC’s The Voice). Jazz pianist, vocalist and composer Jackie Myers is a mainstay in the Austin, Texas indie music scene. Her fluid keyboard style and bluesy vocals have made her a rising star in Kansas City where she now lives and pursues Jazz studies.

Seaside’s Escape To Create (E2C) artist residency launches its 28th season with the arrival of a dozen artists selected from an international pool of applicants for the renowned creative retreat in Seaside, Florida. E2C artists are in residency this January and February as they escape to create their individual projects in the music, literary, visual, theater and performance arts. As a residency requirement, artists give a public performance as a contribution to the community. Often produced in partnership with The REP Theater in Seaside, their readings, screenings, lectures and performances bring outstanding cultural programs to the South Walton community.
