Legendary guitarist Junior Marvin, best known for his work with Bob Marley and the Wailers, is performing live on the Green at Gulf Place Saturday, July 5 at 7pm.
Regional favorite Boukou Groove will open! Gates open at 3:30pm, show starts at 5pm. Food and beverages will be availabel for purchase at the event.
The first five rows will be reserved seating. VIP tickets are $35 in advance, $45 at the door. Chairs will be provided for VIP ticket holders.
General admission is $20 for advance tickets, $35 at the door. Bring your favorite chairs and blankets and enjoy the show on the Green!

Julian 'Junior' Marvin (born Donald Hanson Marvin Kerr Jnr ) also known as Junior Marvin-Hanson, Junior Hanson and Junior Kerr. He is a Jamaican born Guitarist and Singer/Songwriter and is best known for his association with Bob Marley and The Wailers. He started his career as Junior Marvin with the band Hanson in 1973. Marvin has also been associated with Gass, Keef Hartley Band, Toots & the Maytals and Steve Winwood. In 2007, Marvin embarked on a solo album entitled " Wailin' For Love ". Latest CD'S from Junior. " Smokin' To The Big M Music " and " Lion To Zion " 'Dub Wise' both Released Feb/06/2013 ( Bob Marley's Birthday ). On Jan/14/2014 Junior's new Band " JUNIOR MARVIN'S FORCE ONE " was Launched.
