Celebrate Earth Day with Sandestin on Saturday, April 20 at Baytowne Marina. Beginning at 7:30AM, help clean the shoreline by removing plastics and other debris harmful to local wildlife, bay water and natural resources along the Sandestin boundary of Choctawatchee Bay. The DeFuniak Springs Sprint Triathlon will take place Saturday, May 4. Beginning at 7AM, the triathlon will start with with a 600 yard swim in the second most round lake in the world, followed by 16 mile bike ride into the scenic country, followed by a 5k around the lake through historic Victorian style homes surrounding the lake.

The E.O Wilson Biophilia Center will benefit from the Sip for Sustainability initiative this Earth Day in an effort to preserve our beautiful Florida ecosystem.

Art Month is an initiative of the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) with the purpose to bring communities, organizations and businesses together to present quality arts and entertainment to the community. Spanning the month of May, Art Month will feature visual, performing, and literary arts programming in diverse formats and in various venues throughout Walton county. ​

Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC) will host La Vie En Rouge, an inaugural signature event, on Thursday, March 28 from 6-9 p.m.

The non-profit theater company, located at 560 Grand Boulevard, Suite 200 in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin, will be transformed into a 19th-century Parisian cabaret, courtesy of décor sponsor, Clay 30A. The event will feature live performances, dazzling costumes, and a vibrant atmosphere inspired by the hit musical, Moulin Rouge.

Stinky's Bait Shack Annual Pompano Tournament, the longest running fishing tournament in Walton County, is set for March 31 - May 5 with daily weigh-ins open at The Shack from 8am - 8pm.
