St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Seaside, Florida on Scenic 30A: another stellar event at Seaside with a large Spring Break crowd. Notice the new double row of live oak trees on either side of the post office along Scenic 30A with new sidewalks and pavers. Oaks were also added all the way around the square. They change the whole look and feel of the place. Also pictured are the addition of two new airstreams to house Barefoot BBQ, alongside the existing airstreams housing Raw & Juicy on the east and Frost Bites to the west. Two other new businesses opening on the beach side are The Shrimp Shack (replacing Roly Poly) and The Pizza Bar, with pasta and pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven.
The Pizza Bar will feature indoor seating, as well as tables on the deck in the dunes overlooking the gulf. The new restaurant is owned by Dave Rauschkolb of Bud & Alley’s and The Taco Bar (below).
