7/20/05 - At Ed Walline Park, Hwy 393 at Gulf Place, there is walk-on access

Note the difference in sand color between the existing sand, and the darker sand
 which the county has allowed as an exception, to shore up imperiled buildings

7/21/05 - Eastern Lake access at the outflow, which has been moved to the
east by digging a trench, in order to prevent further erosion under homes

A favored place for kids to play, many tidal pools along the beaches have appeared,
due to new sand forming a hump at the waterline, aided by high surf and full-moon high tides

The newly excavated outfall course, reveals sedimentary layers of dark material,
which are alternately exposed and buried by natural forces.

At Alys Beach - the trees go up, and the poles come down, as utility lines are buried
