30A Blue Crab Festival Celebration at Trebeaché Oct 5-7

Fueled by more than 4,000 blue crabs from our local harvesters and craft beer, spirits and wine from across the globe, it's going to be one heck of a good time.

30A Blue Crab Fest will feature fresh local seafood like you've never seen before. We'll also have an incredible live music line up, a full day of awesome regional Chef demonstrations and family friendly attractions. What more could you want from a beautiful weekend at the beach?

The Third Annual 30A Blue Crab Fest Celebration is a fun-filled weekend October 5-7 in Blue Mountain Beach at Trebeaché in Redfish Village. Proceeds from the event benefit the South Walton Artificial Reef Association (SWARA)

Sample over 80 wines, craft cocktails and chef actions stations. Live music by The Mulligan Brothers

Saturday, October 6, 2018 3rd Annual Blue Crab Festival Cooking Demonstration Schedule
Vicki McCain, a local icon in our culinary community and the former Proprietor of The Kitchenique Cooking School will host a series of fun and informative cooking demonstrations on Saturday.
Chefs Jim Richard, Irv Miller, Phil McDonald & Dan Pettis have generously donated their time and talent to support the work of SWARA for the future of our beaches. Chef demonstrations will take place inside Trebeache' on Saturday. The demonstrations are included in festival admission ticket. Limited seating available. First come first serve basis. Full bar will also be available inside Trebeache'. Demonstrations will last 30 minutes followed by 15 minutes for sampling and Q&A. All attendees will get a copy of the recipes prepared.
Florida Wildlife Conservation Lion Fish Presentation will kick off the fun at 12:00 with a Lion Fish presentation followed by a Lion Fish cooking demonstration & sampling.
12:45 PM - Chef Jim Richard, CEO, Word of Mouth Restaurant Group and one of the Founding Members of SWARA will prepare a Lion Fish and Blue Crab Bouillabaisse.
2:00 PM - Chef Irv Miller of Jackson's in Pensacola, Fl. will prepare Oysters & Bacon with Spicy Aioli. Immediately following the demonstration, Chef Miller will sign his new cookbook, Gulf Coast Oysters. Net proceeds of all books sold will be donated to SWARA so think GIFTS!
* SWARA will get $10.00 per book sold.
3:00 PM - Chef Phil McDonald of Black Bear Bread Company in Grayton Beach, Fl. will prepare Red Snapper Crudo, Avocado Mousse, XVOO, Flaky Sea Salt, Chili, Grapefruit.
4:00 PM - Chef Dan Pettis of One 20, A Modern Bistro in Niceville. Fl. will prepare Shrimp and Lemongrass Pot Stickers with Miso Dashi Broth and quick pickled Kimchee Cucumbers.

Live Music Schedule
Listen Up! Live music all weekend in a fun, casual outdoor setting just a short distance from the some of most beautiful beaches in the world. These live performances are included in your festival ticket and will continue into throughout the weekend.
