George Barnes of Smiling Fish is New Director of Operations at 723 Whiskey Bravo
December 13, 2012 by Kurt Lischka
We were sad to see Smiling Fish at Gulf Place close recently after a great run of 13 years. A lot of good times and great food were had on the corner of Scenic 30A and 393. Owner and chef George Barnes knows how to please the palate and runs a tight ship with excellent service. We're excited to hear that George has moved to 723 Whiskey Bravo in Seagrove Beach, which will surely elevate the establishment into one of the top spots in South Walton.
We're also looking forward to La Playa opening in the spot where Smiling Fish was. It's a new caribbean-themed venture from the owners of Cafe Tango. They'll also be taking over the Naked Grape wine bar space.
