Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse Celebrates 25 Years

May 12, 2019 by SoWal Staff

Our favorite Grayton gem, Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse, has turned 25! The "birthday party" was held under the oaks in the Backyard of Love on Saturday, May 11th. Everyone had a good time sharing, drinking, eating, and dancing!

On coming weekend nights join locals and visitors for Tapas & Wine in the Backyard of Love. Delicious and delightful fun will take place Friday and Saturday evenings from 4-8PM beginning May 10th, with plans to continue through June 29th. Beer, Wine, Coffee, Espresso and Small Plates of food will ALL be available.

Hibiscus Coffee and Guesthouse is an old-fashioned romantic getaway in the heart of Grayton Beach. The Guesthouse includes 13 distinctly different accommodations, all furnished and decorated with a vintage "old Florida" feel.

Part of the charm of Hibiscus has always been their motivational “Be…” chalkboard. The large board stands out in the front of the guesthouse and each day a word is written on the board as motivation for passersby to “Be Better.” Many people believe the “Be” of the day speaks directly to them - Be Kind, Be Gentle, Be Dreaming, Be Positive, Be Strong. When you start your day with a positive sign, all things are good!

Hibiscus Cafe is located on the grounds of Hibiscus Coffee and Guesthouse in beautiful Grayton Beach where kicking back is a requirement. The café is open to the public daily for breakfast.
