Savor South Walton Awards and 30A Throwdown at Pandora's Sep 28

Are you ready for a South Walton chef throwdown? Pandora's Steakhouse in Grayton Beach presents the inaugural 30A Throwdown, a culinary competition of eight local chefs in South Walton to benefit Global Fish Aid on Saturday, Sep. 28 at 2 p.m. Walton County TDC will award the first set of “Savor South Walton” Champion Awards to the winning chefs and restaurants for both the Critic’s Choice Award and the People’s Choice Award at 6 p.m.
The chefs will throw down and compete for the new awards and bragging rights, cooking seafood donated by Gulf Coast Seafood. Chef Dan Vargo of Seagar’s, Chef Dave Cunningham of V Seagrove, Chef Ryan Montalo of Pranzo’s, Chef Michael Guerra of Havana Beach Bar & Grill at The Pearl, Chef Oliver Petit of The Red Bar, Chef Chris Mack of Pandora's of Grayton Beach, Chef Phil McDonald of Table of Five, and Chef Brannon Janca of Stinky's Fish Camp will all compete this Saturday. During the event live music by HOR!ZON and Members of the Revivalists with Khris Royal and Eric Vogel with be playing to keep the party lively and fun.
The ticket price is $35 and includes entry for both bands, door prizes, and dinner including red snapper, shrimp & grits and more. Most importantly, you will have a chance to be a judge in the 30A Throwdown for the Savor South Walton Champion People’s Choice Award.
