Shan Kishi Debuts at 30Avenue in Inlet Beach

It's rare for a new restaurant to have all the kinks worked out the first week. Challenges with staff, suppliers and menus can make for a rocky start. Not so with Shan Kishi in Inlet Beach.

Owners Ying and Annie Chen know exactly what they are doing at the beautiful new japanese restaurant at 30Avenue. They've been operating the original Shan Kishi location in Panama City Beach for many years. It's one of the most popular places on the beach. So when they decided to open a new place in the chic new 30Avenue destination in Inlet Beach, they knew they could hit the ground running.

What's even more impressive is that the couple opened Shan Kishi in Miramar Beach a few weeks earlier. It also has been a hit from the first day. The menu at all three locations include a dazzling variety of sushi, in addition to tempura, habachi, and terriyaki. Pad Thai is a childhood favorite of Annie so it's there too. Kids love it.

Shan Kishi at 30Avenue is a step up in quality and decor from the other locations. It's stunning when you first walk in with beautiful woods, statues, a variety of colored lighting, and bubble walls providing a show. The couple set out to build something special and have accomplished their mission. The decor is first class with a large bar and seating, tables, booths, and of course a wide sushi bar with two chefs.

Check it out if you love Japanese and sushi - 30Avenue is on the western edge of Inelt Beach on the north side of Hwy 98 next to Rosemary Beach. The restaurant serves lunch 11am - 3pm and dinner from 5pm - 10pm Monday through Saturday, and from noon - 10pm Sunday. Closed Tuesday.
