The Scenic 30A corridor is chock-a-block with funky galleries and unique boutiques offering a fine collection of all types of local art.SoWal is home to many talented artists and the talent is on full display at The Artists of Gulf Place in Santa Rosa Beach. 

Whether you're a fan of the creative arts or not, this beachside artist’s colony will awaken your inner artist and impress you at every turn. Set in an open-air market at Gulf Place in the heart of Santa Rosa Beach, the location is perfect for spending some time either before or after dining at one of the community’s fantastic restaurants or cafes. The market itself is made up of nine brightly colored kiosks, each belonging to a local artist and offering a unique display of work.

Dwight Ward, Utilitarian and Sculptural Pottery

Dwight Ward was the first artist in the Gulf Place co-op and creates earthy stoneware utilitarian pieces and sculptural Raku, all inspired primarily by nature.

Wendy Prentice, Mermaid Art 

Colorful, funky and whimsical mermaid paintings. Wendy Prentice creates happy art that expresses her passion for the beaches of the area.

Mary Jane Durkin – The Shabby Little Princess

Unique accessories, jewelry and paintings created for young girls. Many items made from recycled materials.

Diane Stark – Handcrafted Jewelry

Custom designed, handmade jewelry featuring sterling silver and Swarovski crystals.

John Hollan – Beach Photography

Beautiful professional photography including portraits, pet portraits, weddings, beach images and much more.

Mike and Chrissy – Tie Dye

Offering a wonderful selection of colorful tie dye tee shirts, tapestries, bags, and clothing. Includes custom and unique designs for all sizes.

Robin Cannon – Glass Mosaics

Mershell Merman – Fun, Funky & Colorful Art

Bright and bold work created with recycled and unique materials. Tropical scenes of palms, fish, flowers and houses all inspired by the Emerald Coast.

Shell Shack

A collection of incredible art all created from shells, with a heavy emphasis on peace signs and unique pieces you won’t find anywhere else!

The Artists at Gulf Place also features an outdoor furniture store offering cypress Adirondack chairs, plus tables, side tables, swings and more.  There’s even a kiosk for quality 30A tee shirts in a wide variety of colors and sizes.
