The Beach House Opens in Sandestin
April 22, 2015 by SoWal Staff
The Beach House celebrated their Grand Opening on April 10 with a private event benefiting the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center. Guests were greeted with a glass of “Beach House” wine upon arrival and were invited to tour the extensive renovations throughout the first and second floors.
Everyone had a chance to sample bites of the restaurant's menu items including grouper fingers, crab fritters, stuffed jalapenos, and jalapeno bacon macaroni and cheese. The Sky Room also featured stations offering shrimp and grits and fried chicken sliders. Guests enjoyed live entertainment by Chris Alvarado and Joseph Bradford as well as a DJ and photo booth by B-Boy Productions. The party continued as guests joined for the official “After Party” of EC Magazine’s Top Salon event, which was held next door at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa.
Located on the beach in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, The Beach House is now open seven days a week serving lunch and dinner. With fresh seafood delivered daily, the casual eatery features coastal cool cuisine including peel-and-eat shrimp, fresh fish, chicken sandwiches, salads and a small plates and tapas menu that will change every two weeks.
The main dining area includes the first floor of the restaurant and the outdoor patio, which was recently redesigned for optimal views of the Gulf of Mexico. Guests are invited to sip their favorite cocktail, glass of wine or a 32-degree cold brew while taking in the sights and sounds from the beach. The expansive panoramic gulf view from the upstairs Sky Room makes The Beach House an ideal location to host events including corporate dinners, family reunions, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, or any special occasion. Those needing up to 3,000 square feet for private entertainment can contact Events Coordinator, Leah Valentine, at email@example.com.
The Beach House was conceptualized by several local “Foodies,” including long-time restaurateur Ron Green, founder of The Another Broken Egg concept. David Valentine, a restaurateur with over 25 years of industry experience, will be the managing partner of the operation.
