November 7, 2012 by SoWal Staff

Thi Bod Fitness celebrates its inaugural birthday bash on Saturday, November 17th at 6pm in the Emerald Coast Plaza at 3906 Highway 98, Suite 1, in Santa Rosa Beach.

The inaugural birthday celebration will feature light hors d'oeuvres and a graduation of its first boot camp participants.

Crissy Thibodeau, a licensed Zumba instructor, fitness trainer and competitor, recently moved from Gold’s Gym to open her own studio in the Santa Rosa Beach location to combine efforts with her husband, Joe Thibodeau, in his boot camp classes.

“We are so excited to celebrate our grand opening. We have been open for a few months now, and continue to see growth with every class,” says Crissy.

Thi Bod Fitness offers both Zumba classes with prices starting at just $6 per class and boot camp classes starting at $10. Monthly packages for Zumba sessions and boot camp blocks are also available.

Crissy has become one of the most well respected instructors along the Emerald Coast, and has one of the highest attendance records for her Zumba classes, ranging from 30-60 people per class.

“Thi Bod Fitness’ Zumba classes are always fun and exciting. I try to incorporate choreography people can pick up and get into very quickly. There’s always something new too, whether it be a black light party, 80’s style, and others. It’s a lot of fun and people can be themselves,” continues Crissy.

Sam McGee, a local Zumba and boot camp participant, has already seen tremendous results with these programs.

“I'm an athlete and team sports have always been my form of exercise. At Thi Bod, we are a team. Having the support and push from everyone really drives me to go hard and push myself to my max. I have never felt stronger than I do now, and am currently in my third round of boot camp,” says McGee.
