The Pearl Hotel and WaterColor Inn & Resort, along with WaterColor Inn’s onsite restaurant Fish Out of Water, have each received four-stars from the 2015 Forbes Travel Guide Star Ratings. This is the first time that Forbes Travel Guide has named The Pearl Hotel to this prestigious list, while WaterColor Inn & Resort has maintained its four-star rating for three consecutive years.

South Walton Community Explores Incorporation

Is Incorporation right for South Walton? Is now the time? 

On Thursday, February 26th the South Walton Community Council (SWCC) will present Lynn Tipton of Florida League of Cities to speak and answer questions about incorporating South Walton as a city. Two sessions will be held at the Seaside Repertory Theater, located in Seaside Florida, at 216 Quincy Circle. One session will be at 4 p.m., the other at 7 p.m.

Emeril's Florida Features The Bay on The Cooking Channel

South Walton restaurants, events, and lifestyle will be featured on a brand new episode of Emeril's Florida on The Cooking Channel starting March 1. The episode will air the first week of March and features Jim Shirley’s The Bay, Vin’tij Wine Boutique, events in South Walton, and a special Gulf-to-Table portion with Emeril’s fresh catch of the day.
