No items are allowed to be left on the beach overnight and will be removed by the beach service. Items left on the beach and holes are hazardous to people and sea turtles.

This 7-foot gator decided to catch some waves and was in and out of the surf hanging with the spring break crowd in Santa Rosa Beach . The American Alligator is not a saltwater critter but will occasionally venture onto the beach during mating season. Trappers were called in and they wrestled him off the beach for relocation. read more...
