Bud & Alley's Pizza Bar & Trattoria
Bud & Alley's Pizza Bar opened in 2009 to rave reviews, and it’s no wonder. Owner Dave Rauschkolb and his wife Carol, along with their friends, architect Leo Casas and wife Tara, spent weeks traveling through Italy researching pizzerias before designing and building Pizza Bar.
Located next to Bud and Alley’s Restaurant on Scenic 30A in Seaside, Pizza Bar’s menu features more than a dozen different “red” and “white” pizza pie offerings. Each 11-inch Neapolitana-style pizza pie is made to order and topped with fresh local produce, along with imported meats and cheeses for the most authentic taste. The thin crust-style pizzas are cooked in a wood-fired brick oven and served in minutes.
Chef Phil McDonald draws his menu inspirations from the Gulf of Mexico, local farms, his customers’ tastes, and the five senses. Classic Margherita is topped with fresh basil and mozzarella, and the Farmer’s Market pizza is a great showcase for fresh, seasonal vegetables sourced from local farms and fields.
Artisan cheeses, fresh green salads, antipasto dishes, bruschetta, homemade soups, seasonal vegetables, and hearty pastas round out the menu. The bar and wine list feature domestic and imported beer, as well as red, white, and sparkling wines by the bottle and by the glass.
For the best view in SoWal, lounge on the shady terrace nestled in the dunes and overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Dine in for a truly local experience or grab takeout at the walk-up window for pizza night at home. Lunch and dinner are served daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
