Bond: An Unauthorized Parody
Bond is back… older and wisecracking… Gavin Robertson focuses his attention on the Bond phenomenon in his latest physical cartoon-style adventure by spoofing the characters adored by millions, and exploding every cliché in the book(s)… solo! In which Bond meets his greatest arch-villain yet: the creator of James Bond himself, British author Ian Fleming! Along with a slimy French sidekick, the usual female companion, and a time machine! There’s no stopping the world’s greatest gentleman agent with a license to thrill. Also featuring the smallest car chase in theatre history! To date, this production has been seen in the UK, Eire, USA, Russia and Australia, but there is nowhere he can't get to...!
The Ghost Of A Smile
Two yarns to chill and charm! Stories with a shiver and a smile!
Throughout his illustrious writing career, Charles Dickens often turned his hand to fashioning short pieces of ghostly fiction. While all his supernatural tales aim to send a shiver down the spine, they are not without the usual traits of Dickens' flamboyant style: his subtle wit, biting irony, humorous incidents and moral observations. Featuring two of Dickens’ creepy tales – with a comic twist. A traveler encounters a ghostly chair, and in a deserted Edinburgh carriageworks, a tipsy reveler is spirited away by...well...spirits! Like “The Woman in Black” – but funnier, with fewer people!
Done To Death, By Jove!
A cast of six brings a comic flurry of suspects and sleuths together to discover whodunnit - and how! Except, well, four of the cast are stuck by the side of the road in the van, and only those two shining knights of the Theatre – Sir Gavin and Sir Nicholas – have managed to get to the venue on time. Of course, ‘the show must go on!” Besides, what could possibly go wrong!? Comic clichés from the Great British Detective genre – secrets, motives and cunning detective-work abound in this genre-busting farcical comedy. It’s not a new idea – it’s been Done to Death, By Jove – but not like this! Promise.
