Sushi lovers are fanatical about their sushi. SoWal insiders and staff are always looking for a great place to pull up to the bar and take some Wasabi hits with fresh Ginger and amazing local seafood. Here's the latest SoWal List with some of the best sushi in South Walton!

Crush   Next time you stroll the streets of Seaside, pop in to Crush for a fresh roll and a nice glass of wine. See and be seen at Crush on the covered sidewalk, the terrace, or at the bar. The trained staff will happily help you pair wine with sushi. Happy hour at Crush is daily from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. when you can enjoy half priced wine, beer and sushi. Crush is one happening place that serves up some truly fresh and unique sushi.
 
Marie’s Bistro   Marie’s Bistro in Blue Mountain Beach rolls their sushi to order and only uses fresh, local ingredients. The Big D roll, a local favorite, comes with steak, shrimp, avocado, cucumber, eel sauce and spicy mayo. Another sure bet is the Bistro Roll, which is loaded with shrimp tempura, topped with tuna, smoked salmon, baked crab salad and spicy mayo. Marie’s constantly receives rave reviews about the sushi. The creative combos and fresh ingredients make the sushi to die for. All sushi at Marie’s Bistro is available for dine in or pick up in the drive thru.

 

 
Aqua Coastal Sushi   Aqua provides creative food in a cool atmosphere right in the heart of Rosemary Beach. The aesthetic of Aqua Coastal is a blend of urban chic and sexy. There really is something for everyone at Aqua - from many types of rolls and salads to sashimi and dessert. Kids can even get a PB&J roll, a banana Nutella Roll, or chicken bites. Aqua Coastal isn’t your normal sushi restaurant and that’s what makes them stand out from all the rest. Do something new and fresh for lunch or dinner today.

The Gathering Spot   The Gathering Spot & Sushi Bar is a hidden gem located in the WaterColor Inn and Resort. Relax at one of the comfy tables inside or take a seat poolside by the fire pits. Order one of the signature cocktails to go with the amazingly fresh rolls. The Cowboy Roll and the Spicy Emerald Roll are very popular. The Gathering Spot offers a cozy, casual atmosphere perfect for after-work drinks and sushi, a first date, or even a meeting. Happy hour is from 5-6 p.m. and five select rolls for $5 and $6, beer for $3, and house wine and select drinks for $5.
 

 
Old Florida Fish House   Old Florida Fish House is one of the most well-known spots in SoWal for sushi. The menu is extensive and diverse. The rolls are massive and perfect for sharing in large groups. Top sellers include the Amazon, the Backdown, the Lobster roll and the Uptown Beef roll when it’s available. After dinner, head over to the bar area and dance the night away to the sounds of the popular house band.
 
Sushimoto   Sushimoto is a family-owned restaurant located in Miramar Beach just next to The Melting Pot. The welcoming nature of the family and the outstanding sushi made it an overnight success. A huge following of locals and visitors, keeps this little hidden gem packed every day and night. The items other than sushi on the menu are out of this world. The teriyaki dishes are some of the best on the menu and prepared by a master chef with over 40 years of experience. Everything is fresh and the service is excellent. Stop by and grab a bite to eat – you won’t be disappointed.
