The latest Walton County Real Estate Report includes all of South Walton real estate activity for March 2017, including statistics for single family homes, townhomes, and condos in Walton County, Florida.
The sand is warming up during the SoWal Spring and real estate sales are sizzling. Single family closed sales were up 25% for March compared to the same month last year. The number of pending sales was up 15%. Inventory was up 1.6%. Median sales price was also up a whopping 27%! Dollar volume is up an amazing 50% over last year from $124.5 million in March 2016 to $187.2 million in March 2017.
Months Supply of Inventory for Walton County was down 6.7% over the same month last year at 7 months for March 2017.
From the report: Months Supply of Inventory is an indicator of the state of the market, whether it is a buyers' market or a sellers' market. The benchmark for a balanced market (favoring neither buyer nor seller) is 5.5 Months of Inventory. Higher numbers indicate a buyers' market, lower numbers a sellers' market.
