Bud & Alley's Waterfront Restaurant
Overlooking the Gulf of Mexico in the heart of Seaside, Florida, Bud & Alley's has been a popular gathering place since 1986 for good food, good people, and good times. A pioneer of the fish- and farm-to-table food movement, the award-winning menu features Gulf Coast classics paired with Southern-style cuisine. Award winning Bloody Mary's serve as meals in themselves, but alongside decadent dishes the likes of Duck Confit Hashbrowns, a story begins to unfold.
“Breakfast is one of my favorite meals of the day. It’s been a long time coming but it’s something I’ve always wanted to do,” says owner Dave Rauschkolb.
From sunrise to sunset, Bud and Alley's makes dining on the Gulf special. Sunset celebrations on the rooftop bar overlooking the Gulf have been a hallmark tradition for 30 years. Few would disagree that the Rooftop Bar is the place to be when the sun dips below the horizon. A cast-iron bell from an 1888 steam train is rung each day to honor the sunset. The ritual has become a beloved South Walton tradition.
“The sunsets along our coast are so beautiful, I felt they deserved to be celebrated,” says Dave.

“Our motto from day one has been Good Food, Good People, Good Times” Dave proudly states. "And it still rings true 30 years later."
Bud & Alley's devotion extends to two sister restaurants located next door and along the Gulf of Mexico in Seaside. Pizza Bar's authentic stylings of wood-fired artisan pizza pies are direct from the cucina's of Italy, while the Taco Bar's fresh flavors and funky vibe are reminiscent of the authentic taquerias on the Mexican border.
Also, Bud and Alley's Catering Company in Grayton Beach allows you to savor the flavors of the dishes you love while celebrating life's milestones and special moments.
Over the years, Bud & Alley’s has garnered numerous awards including Florida Trend Magazine’s Golden Spoon Hall of Fame Award, designating the eatery as one of the Top 20 Restaurants in Florida.
The beloved restaurant has earned several awards recently including: three Visit South Walton's 2016 Perfect in South Walton Awards for Best Seafood Menu (Top Finalist), Best Gulf to Table Menu (People's Choice) and Best Sunset View (Grand Champion) and named to several prestigious lists such as 10 Best Restaurants in the South by CultureTrip.com.
