Children's Volunteer Health Network, Inc.
Children's Volunteer Health Network (CVHN) works to enhance the lives of uninsured or underinsured school-aged children by facilitating free, immediate access to medical, dental and vision care in Northwest Florida. CVHN exists to ensure all kids are healthy and happy by facilitating the care that children need and deserve.
The mission of CVHN is to improve the health and well-being of children in need. CVHN strives towards this mission by utilizing a network of over 95 local, volunteer physicians, dentists and other healthcare providers. CVHN also operates the ‘Just for Grins’ Mobile Dental Clinic, which visits local elementary schools and other non-profits, and the CVHN Dental Clinic in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. All services are free to children enrolled in Walton and Okaloosa county schools on the free or reduced lunch programs.
Volunteer & Donate
As a volunteer-driven organization, Children’s Volunteer Health Network draws heavily upon the participation of its most precious resources, a dedicated corps of community and professional volunteers. Without them, there would be no program. Visit cvhnkids.org/get-involved to learn more and to download the volunteer form.
CVHN Signature Annual Events
CVHN is proud to host exciting signature events throughout the year, including 30A Wine Festival at Alys Beach, Smile Mile & 5k at Watercolor Marina Park and the Hurricane Party at Bud & Alley’s Restaurant. CVHN also receives support from community-wide fundraising events such as Destin Wine Charity Auction Foundation (DWCAF) wine tasting events, auctions, wine dinners and festivals.
