Choctawhatchee Audubon Society

Dedicated to the protection of bird and wildlife habitat, environmental education, and a greater appreciation of Northwest Florida s natural beauty.  Terrific resource for adults and kids including monthly programs and bird walks, twice a year migration counts, field trips to banding stations and other prime birding spots, an annual Christmas Bird Count, and special community projects such as the Choctawhatchee Tern Team, canoe cleanups of local streams, and bird counts at local parks to create species checklists.

I live at Summerhouse Miramar Beach and cannot get anyone to answer your phone. They took down a tree housing owls at Bad Ass Coffee and displaced adult and baby owl. The adult is now at Summerhouse and I want to find housing box to put on our property to protect owl and young. Please call me at 850-837-0519
