The Junior League of the Emerald Coast, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

The Junior League of the Emerald Coast began in 1964 with five women dedicated to making a difference in their community. Today the Junior League of the Emerald Coast is an organization of more than 200 Northwest Florida Panhandle women of diverse backgrounds who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to voluntarism. We are a diverse group of women - doctors, lawyers, teachers, business women and stay at home mothers.

The members of the Junior League of the Emerald Coast strive to uphold our mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving our community. As a member of the Association of Junior League's International, we are part of a global team with 293 Junior Leagues from the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. Local members benefit from being a part of this global team by sharing ideas and community projects which are successful in other parts of the world and to use those experiences to better our own community.
