With a name like Stinky’s it better be good!
Stinky’s Fish Camp is a SoWal icon run by a trio of partner chefs, Jim Richard, Todd Misener and Brannon Janca. But good eats aren’t the only thing the Chefs are cooking up. Stinky’s is all about good times, too.
Stinky’s menu features Gulf-to-Table seafood with a New Orleans flair. The casual lakefront restaurant offers a daily selection of fresh local seafood highlighted by the Oyster Log, a raw bar with oysters served any way you like them. Other menu highlights include Stinky’s Fowl Gumbo, done the New Orleans way. And dinner time features goodies like Stinky’s Stew, shrimp, mussels, fish, oysters, snow crab legs, corn, potatoes, & tomatoes in a basil butter broth and served with a loaf of hot New Orleans garlic bread.
Sunday Brunch brings benedicts, beignets, and house made andouille. It’s also where you can get one of the best Bloody Mary’s in SoWal…it comes with pickled okra, green beans and a shrimp! Brunch is served with live music by The Steeno's and Washboard Jackson usually joins them for a great jam.
The guys love to gather friends old and new at their many events throughout the year. Whether they’re hosting Stinky’s Fishing Tournament, throwing a party with live music, or putting on an Oyster festival, there’s always some fun to be had. And be sure to catch their anniversary on April Fool’s Day every year. It’s a party you won’t want to miss, complete with a crawfish boil, live music and drink specials all day and into the night.
Right next door to Stinky’s Fish Camp sits Stinky’s Bait Shack. While you wait for at table at the restaurant (it IS first come, first served-no reservations accepted), head over to The Bait Shack for nightly live music, drinks and apps and some of the coolest gear you’ll find at the beach. Grab t-shirts, gifts, bait, and even ukuleles while you’re there.
Stinky’s Fish Camp is located on the quiet end of Scenic 30A in Dune Allen. The restaurant is open daily for lunch, dinner and drinks.
