A feel good story...

Yesterday, I was leaving the Red Bar when I spotted what I thought was an ad flyer under my wiper. Got out and it read....

"I just knocked into your bumper. I am sorry" and yes, it was signed with a name and phone number. :clap_1:

I didn't have time to call her until this morning and she was relieved when I did. She wants to make it right and I told her she is well on her way by leaving this note! There are really good people in this world...one just happened to run into me!!!! ;-)

That's grayt...not that you have bumper damage, but that it was an honest person. Hope it continues to work out!

Man, I wish the guy that had hit my car had done that.

Someone else left his lisence plate number.

The best part about it was not only was it a kid driving a rental car because he had crashed his car but his mom worked with my dad for the Marine Corps.

The resulting paint job looked REALLY nice.

I'm glad she left her number and all. Makes it a lot easier to get everything worked out and doesn't leave much in teh way of bad feelings.

I wish I had bumped into Miss Kitty!

Last summer, with a car full of girls, I pulled out of Big Kuhuna's parking space...late of course, bumping into a van parked behind me. Left a note and number, after waiting almost 45 minutes, AND informing the Big K crew. A few days later I pick up the phone and hear a screaming man AND woman about how I smashed their van. And accusing me of just taking off! It one little tiny scratch of red paint on thier white van and a tennis ball round dent.:roll:

To make a long story short...that wasn't the end of it....and I found myself wishing I had just pulled on out! I thought I was doing a good thing....thank goodness for insurance!
